You'll be Trained on Professional Grade Audio Visual Equipment & Software!

The Electronic & Audio Visual Systems program spans over three rooms, including a 7.1 Channel Commercial Quality Theater System which includes hardware such as Control 4, Crown Audio, Denon, APC, Onkyo, Klipsch, and Mitsubishi. The Electronic & Audio Visual Systems work lab features security, automation, data networking and Audio Visual equipment such as HAI, Control 4, Fire-Lite, Leviton, Linksys, Denon, LG, Sony, and many others.


You're training will take place in the Electronic & Audio Visual Systems classroom with industry standard software such as D-Tools System Integration Software, Microsoft Visio, and the Microsoft Office Suite. You'll also have access to a variety of tools and hardware including digital multi-testers, cable and CAT5/6 testers, oscilloscopes, reflectometers, cabling, switches, connector blocks, racks, and servers. You'll learn basic concepts of electronic system installation and gain hands-on experience soldering joints, preparing and terminating cables, and building systems racks. Throughout the program you are trained in on-the-job safety.


As an Electronic & Audio Visual Systems student you'll use display devices such as projectors and flat panel TV's, amplifiers, speakers, compression drivers, mixers, crossover networks, front-of-house and monitor mixing, system equalization, 70-volt audio distribution systems, and monitoring systems. You will become familiar with the procedures associated with the set-up and transportation of large touring systems and small-club operations. In addition you will learn all facets of managing a project such as a distributed audio, surveillance and home theater systems from the design phase to completion.
