YOU SHOULD TOTALLY BE THERE!

Come to Madison Media Institute for a showing of the independent film shot in Wisconsin called “Feed the Fish”.  Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the MMI Theater in Building B.   You can also meet  Independent Filmmaker Nick Langholff  who is a  well -known producer in Wisconsin’s independent film community and he will share his experiences about shooting the film  after the showing.  The film stars Tony Shaloub also known as “Monk”  which airs on the USA Network. Kristen Schmitigal brought local company Eidcom to campus and they scooped up two of our student from the GAM program, Ryan Castle and Bailey Lake for internships.

SO COOL!

Jack Sayre Recording Instructor in Madison, did the sound effects for this short film last year (though he doesn’t know where the breathing sounds came from).

The film is called “Awakening” and has been chosen to receive the Award of Excellence in Filmmaking at the 2012 Canada International Film Festival in Vancouver, British Columbia.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Paul Peterson attended and performed this morning at the North Minneapolis YMCA Elders Circle!  Paul’s mom, JEANNE ARLAND PETERSON, the first lady of Minnesota music was honored.  Paul and his Mom also visited the studios at the YMCA that they provide for their youth programs.  And surprise!  Our very own student Starr Sirrahh was there to help!
