The Video & Motion Graphics program has had a lot of exciting things going on recently!

VMG Instructor, Brian Alberth, worked with VMG students, Paul Reinertson and Ryan Arneson, on an anti drinking-and-driving campaign for the Wisconsin Dept of Transportation. Pictured below are Brian, Paul, Ryan, and the entire crew.

A video that Brian Alberth directed is being considered in TED's second Ads Worth Spreading Challenge. Ken Pearsall, MMI Audio Production Specialist, worked on sound, and two former students and animators (Ben Hawkins & Jim Bugge) also contributed to the project. People can vote for entries on TED's Ads Worth Spreading channel on YouTube. Also, a film Brian Alberth shot is seeking financial backing - and it's half way to $40,000. It's a documentary about the uprising in Wisconsin: http://www.prwatch.org/news/2012/01/11240/filmmaker-seeks-support-wisconsin-rising-film ***Update 1/20***The Kickstarter Project raised over $41,000 to fund the post production of Wisconsin Rising!
