Gregory Lindholm has joined the Minneapolis Media Institute audio program faculty, as the lead instructor for the Recording and Live Sound program. In this role, he teaches students the fundamentals of music and multiple aspects of studio and live sound production.

Lindholm has worked in the music industry since he was a young kid from South Dakota. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he serves as the recording, mixing and mastering engineer, as well as the producer, for Gregory Lindholm Productions. And he’s also the keyboardist, songwriter, and producer for The Suit, a hard rock band based out of Fargo, ND. He has had a hand in producing numerous records, including recent release by Tiny Moving Parts (Triple Crown Records) titled “Celebrate.”

“My whole life has been based around creating music, and I believe you’ll never find a more satisfying moment than finishing a record.” said Lindholm. “I’m very excited about being able to share my passion and experience with my students at Media Institute.”

Media Institute was founded in Madison, Wisc. in 1969 and expanded to Minneapolis, Minn. in 2009. As administrators have done from the beginning, they continue to provide modern equipment, facilities and industry professionals to offer students the skills they need to stay current as media changes.
