DID YOU KNOW…… Tim Andersen mixed the album "Four Daughters of Beauty" for the Minneapolis based band "Silverseed". Mastered by Greg Reirson, the CD release party/concert is this Wednesday May 2nd at Cause Spirits and Soundbar in Uptown. The album will be played in its entirety at 11 PM. Come and hear a band that sounds just like the CD! (Trust me on this statement). Thanks AND THIS IS REALLY COOL…… Chris Taylor arranged a Work Study partnership with Lussier Community Education Center in Madison adjacent to Jefferson Middle School and Memorial High School.  Lussier has a much underused recording studio and several students who are interested in writing songs and recording.  This is a fantastic opportunity for our Recording students and for the high school, middle school and elementary school students who spend time at Lussier. THIS SOUNDS FUN…….. Paul Peterson played a sold out show with his family this weekend at the Dakota Jazz Club in downtown Mpls.  “Patty Peterson and Friends” returned to the Dakota Jazz Club for this one night only performance.  She appears with her band of locally, nationally and internationally well known musicians.   Every time Patty and these extraordinary players perform at the Dakota it is a for sure sell out! EXCITING OPPORTUNITY….. The EAV program at Madison Media Institute has become a training partner with The Electronic Systems Professional Alliance. ESPA has a certification program that will be integrated into our curriculum. ESPA is affiliated with 3 nationally known organizations. 1.      CEDIA - Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association 2.      NSCA – National Systems Contractors 3.      CEA – Consumer Electronics Association Students should be able to  graduate with a nationally recognized Certification as well as a degree upon integrating this into our program. We currently teach the ESPA material which should make for an easy transition and provide a good completion rate on the ESPA test. We make things happen EVERY DAY!!
